How to add a new site?
Before adding a new site, it is very important to check if the site exists already in inventory. Duplicates of sites would cause many issues of management.
If you don’t see the site in your project, there might be two reasons:
- The site doesn’t exist in inventory.
- The site exists in inventory, but it is not assigned to the project. It is not on your survey route.
In either above case, it is recommended:
- Synchronize your app with 'Force to perform a full sync' checked.
- Go to Sites and search the site.
- If the site can be found but not on your survey route, contact project manager to confirm if the site should be surveyed.
- If the site cannot be found, it doesn’t exist in inventory. Contact the project manager to confirm if the site should be created and added to the project.
Add a new site
If you are working on a project, the new site will be added to the project automatically. If you don't want to add the new site to the current project, go to "Settings" to uncheck "Work on project" option before creating the new site..
- Go to "Sites".
- Click the dropdown menu (The three dots at the top right on the screen).
- Choose the "Add New Site" on the menu.
- Input information of the new site and save.
- On the next screen of the new site, take pictures.
Notes: The Facility ID is the Petrinex record ID. You can leave it empty if you don't know it.
