Settings
Please ensure you understand each setting item and set it up correctly.
- Survey pass
- It is an LDAR survey campaign. There are 3 LDAR survey passes for refineries in Canada as of 2022. Select the correct survey pass which you are currently working with. All inspection records taking place after will be classified under the selected survey pass. The default is the last survey pass of the year you are working in. The survey passes are created by your LDAR Server administrator or project manager on web.
- Leak threshold (ppm)
- This is the value you would like to get alarmed when monitoring value exceeds it. It is only used for Method 21 monitoring. Please note that this threshold may not apply to all component types. For example, leak threshold for compressor is 1,000pmm instead of 10,000 ppm in Canada.
Monitoring route
Set up component filters for your monitoring route in this section. You may change these settings from time to time for deferent monitoring tasks. For example, you might be only interested in the accessible components when using TVA2020. Or you may be only interested in the components which are in heavy liquid service for visual inspection. These filters will enable you to filter off unwanted components in your monitoring route.
- Component created time
- Toggle it on if you would like to choose the components which were created before or after a specific date.
- Heavy liquid
- Toggle it on to select the components which are in heavy liquid service only.
- Is leaking
- Toggle it on to select leaking components only. Note: all other filters will be ignored if this is selected.
- Include accessible components
- Toggle it on to include the accessible components in your monitoring route.
- Include inaccessible components
- Check off the types to include these inaccessible components in your monitoring route.
Inspection equipment
Select the correct VOC analyzer (e.g. TVA2020) and OGI camera which you are going to use for monitoring. The selected equipment will be assigned to each inspection record thereafter.
Other
- Inspection windows dismissible
- There is an inspection panel/window overlaid on the monitoring screen. When dismissible is on, the window will dismiss when click outside of it. Otherwise the window will not dismiss unless it is closed manually.
- Component navigation by tag
- The way how the components in a group/photo are sorted. It can be either by tag number, or by the component's position in the group. In inspection panel/window, there are two buttons (previous and next) to allow user to go to the previous or the next component in the monitoring route. Note: to enable navigation by tag, the tagging pattern must be as xx.xxxx.xx, where the first two digits are unit number, the middle digits are group number, and last two digits are tag number in the group. The three sections in the tag are separated by dot (.).
